After missing the last two matches and not even being selected for the defeat to Real Madrid, Kluivert was selected in the starting line-up against Viktoria Plzen.
The 19-year-old had an excellent Champions League debut as he scored his first goal for his new side in the second half to make it 4-0. The winger knocked in a rebound.
After scoring, Kluivert held up a Roma shirt with Nouri 34 on the back. A tribute to his former Ajax teammate Abdelhak Nouri who suffered brain damage over a year ago.
