PSV Eindhoven and ADO Den Haag both comfortably booked their places in the KNVB Cup second round on Wednesday evening.

Excelsior Maassluis 0-4 PSV Eindhoven

Mark van Bommel made eleven changes to his side for the trip to Maassluis but the Eredivisie leaders comfortably booked their place in the next round.

After only 15 minutes, Cody Gakpo slotted in the opening goal before Trent Sainsbury made it 2-0 just before the break with a header.

In the second half, Ramon Pascal Lundqvist made it 3-0 after some excellent work by Mauro Junior before Nicolas Isimat-Mirin sealed the comfortable win by heading in a Mauro Junior free-kick.

OJC Rosmalen 0-6 ADO Den Haag

ADO Den Haag may be struggling in the Eredivisie but they eased into the second round of the cup after hammering amateur side OJC.

Nasser El Khayati opened the scoring in the 24th minute with a free-kick before Tomas Necid made it 2-0 shortly afterwards. Tom Beugelsdijk added the third before the break with an excellent strike.

In the second half, ADO Den Haag continued to push forward and before the hour mark, El Khayati netted his second. Necid and Sheraldo Becker then sealed the victory for the visitors.
