FC Twente 1-3 De Graafschap
FC Twente have crashed out of the cup after a shock 3-1 loss to De Graafschap.
Ron Jans named a relatively strong team for the clash, but they found themselves 2-0 down by the break after goals from Mo Hamdaoui and Joey Konings.
Substitute Casper Staring pulled one back for the hosts but Julian Lelieveld killed any chance of a comeback in the last seconds.
Heerenveen 3-1 Top Oss
Heerenveen are safely into the second round after a 3-1 win over Oss in Friesland.
Joey Veerman opened the scoring in the 11th minute but Oss equalised through Joshua Sanches in the 29th minute. Heerenveen quickly restored their lead as Benjamin Nygren netted.
Rodney Kongolo then added the third in the 40th minute and there were no further goals in the second half.
VVV-Venlo 4-2 Den Bosch
VVV put their 13-0 loss to Ajax behind them to defeat Den Bosch to reach the next round.

However, after the break Giorgos Giakoumakis equalised before Jafar Arias put VVV in front. Giakoumakis added a third in the 73rd minute through a penalty, but Postema pulled one back for Den Bosch.
Any anxiety was ended by Tobias Pachonik, who sealed VVV’s place in the second round.
Dordrecht 2-4 Utrecht
Utrecht were too strong for Dordrecht on Tuesday evening to book their place in the second round.
Bart Ramselaar opened the scoring in the fifth minute but Nikolas Agrofiotis equalised for the hosts soon afterwards.
Ramselaar restored Utrecht’s lead before Gyrano Kerk added a third before the break. Agrofiotis pulled one back early in the second half, but Sander van de Streek ensured Utrecht’s place in the next round.
