IJsselmeervogels 0-1 Heerenveen
Heerenveen booked their place in the quarter-finals but they needed an 88th minute goal to see off IJsselmeervogels.
The side, who play three divisions below Heerenveen frustrated their Eredivisie opponents, but were eventually beaten when Reza Ghoochannejhad guided a corner into the net,
Volendam 4-1 VVSB
There was no shock in Tuesday’s early kick off with Volendam seeing off second division side VVSB.
The hosts took the lead through a Erik Schouten header on five minutes, but VVSB equalised soon after with Giovialli Serbony taking advantage of a defensive error to score.
On fifteen minutes a massive goalkeeping error by VVSB’s Ruben Valk gifted Volendam the lead again. He dropped a seemingly harmless free kick into the path of Kees Kwakman, who slid the ball into the net.
Gyliano van Velzen then netted a double either side of half time to ensure Volendam’s place in the Quarter finals.
