Starting on Tuesday evening, the first tie of the round sees Eerste Divisie side Almere City travel to face minnows Capelle, while NEC Nijmegen are the first Eredivisie side to play when they face Harkemase Boys.
Cambuur, and Go Ahead Eagles both face away ties to Katwijk, and DVS’33, with the pick of Tuesday’s action being the all Eredivisie tie between RKC Waalwijk, and Heracles.
Holders AZ Alkmaar start their campaign by hosting Sparta Rotterdam on Wednesday, while PSV Eindhoven face Telstar, and Vitesse travel to Ridderkerk to meet RVVH.
A special tribute will be made to Gerrie Muhren, who recently passed away during the tie between Ajax, and Volendam, as two of the former Dutch legend’s former sides clash at the Amsterdam Arena.
On Thursday there is a mouthwatering tie between two in form Eredivisie sides, Heerenveen and Twente, while Feyenoord host Dordrecht in the final tie of the round.
