Ronald Koeman’s wife Bartina has revealed that they both suffered from coronavirus earlier in the year.

The Netherlands boss recently suffered from a heart complaint, but speaking to Libelle, Bartina Koeman revealed that they had also both suffered from coronavirus.
She said, Ronald and I both had corona. Our corona test was negative, but then we had a blood test and both of us found antibodies in the blood. He was also very sick, my complaints were milder.”
On her husband’s battle with a heart issue, Bartina added, “I realised that suddenly he can no longer be there. Initially my body was full of adrenaline, I shot in survival mode. Straight into action! I drove after the ambulance to the hospital. An hour and a half later, Ronald was in a bed.”
Bartina is relieved that her husband will recover, “It seems that in the end he will feel better than he felt before.”
