The attacker suffered a cruciate ligament injury playing for Lyon and the fear is he will miss out on the European Championship. However, Memphis is working hard to be back in time to feature for Oranje.
Speaking to Fox Sports, Koeman said on Memphis, “I follow that and have been to see him.
“Everything is going according to their schedule. It may be a bit faster than other rehabilitation sessions, but it is still too early to draw conclusions.”
“I am in contact with him and with the doctor of the Dutch national team, who is also involved. He has to rehabilitate for a long time and everything has to go well in that. We have to wait and see. ”
