Koeman was announced as the new Everton boss on Tuesday and focus will now be on signing new players ahead of the new season.
The Guardian are reporting today that Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul could be one of the first players to join Koeman at Goodison park. Krul only has one year left on his contract in Newcastle, and their relegation to the Championship could see the Dutch international depart.
Koeman sees Krul as the perfect replacement for Tim Howard, who left Everton to return to America this summer.
