Koeman first revealed his interest in the Dutch international at the weekend when he was a guest on the television show “Tafel met Kees” and was asked about it during his pre-match press conference on Thursday.
He responded, “If there is any possibility, of course I am interested. I was interested when I was manager of Southampton and that has not changed.”
Memphis has been strongly linked with a move away from Old Trafford after failing to make a single start in the Premier League this season. A loan move is expected in January, but Everton are not the only club in the race with AC Milan, Roma, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce also credited with interest.
