Ronald Koeman has stated his commitment to Southampton despite links to Everton in the English press on Friday.

Koeman’s name was heavily linked with the vacant position at Everton on Friday morning after Roberto Martinez was sacked by the Liverpool-based club.
However, speaking to Sky Sports in his pre-game press conference Koeman reiterated his commitment to Southampton.
Koeman said, “I am manager of Southampton, everyone knows I have one more year of my contract. I got asked the same question last week. We will sit together and analyse this season and talk about the future. That’s what the news is.”
Koeman was then asked directly if that meant he would be Southampton boss next season. He responded, “Yes.”
Frank de Boer is another Dutchman linked with the Everton position and with Koeman out of the running he could be one step closer to Goodison Park.
