Netherlands boss Ronald Koeman is unsure whether Memphis Depay will be fit enough to face Northern Ireland on Saturday.

The Lyon striker missed the loss at Marseille on Sunday but is part of the Netherlands squad, with Koeman hopeful he can feature.

Speaking at his press conference on Tuesday, Koeman gave an update on the forward’s fitness, “He sees it positively.

“But it is not clear whether he will play or not. Maybe he will not face Northern Ireland and three days later Estonia. We have to take a look and decide. “

Memphis has been crucial for Netherlands in the Euro 2020 qualifiers with six goals and eight assists in his last seven internationals.

Should Memphis not recover, Koeman has to choose between Ryan Babel, Luuk de Jong, Wout Weghorst or Myron Boadu.
