The Topklasser side beat HBS 2-1 on October 29th to reach the last 16 of the tournament and book a tie against AZ Alkmaar. However a day later the KNVB announced that they were investigating Kozakken Boys after they fielded Madjer Lukoki despite his name not being present on the teamsheet.
On Wednesday the KNVB ruled that Kozakken Boys have acted incorrectly and they have been dismissed from the tournament with HBS taking their place in the next round.
Kozakken Boys cannot appeal the decision, with all KNVB rulings in matters like this binding.
