Feyenoord captain Dirk Kuyt believes his side deserved more after their 1-1 draw with Ajax on Sunday in De Klassieker.

The 36-year-old netted the equaliser five minutes before the end which earned Feyenoord the draw in De Klassieker, but felt his side should have won the game after missing several chances in the first half.
Kuyt told Fox Sports, “We forgot to score several times and then you go down 0-1. That was quite a blow.
“The comeback is due to the character of the team, but for now to say that the draw feel satisfactory. No, not really.”
On his goal, Kuyt said, “It was a great cross, I was actually still too far behind my marker but I thought “I must put my head on it.” That worked and it gives me a wonderful feeling.”
