Art Langeler has resigned with immediate effect from his position as head coach of PEC Zwolle.

PEC Zwolle are currently bottom of the Eredivisie with only one win from their opening 12 games. They are currently seven points adrift of safety.
The club announced on Tuesday morning that Langeler had resigned from his position, with the 51-year-old believing he cannot turn the bad form around.
A statement on the PEC Zwolle website read, “Langeler personally sees too little perspective in the situation that has arisen to turn the performance curve in the short term and hopes that this decision will help PEC Zwolle get out of this situation.”
Assistant coach Dwight Lodeweges also leaves the club.
