Go Ahead Eagles earned a 1-1 draw at FC Twente after a 90th-minute penalty.

Twente were favourites for the clash but they came up against a Go Ahead Eagles side that had not lost in the league since the 3rd of September.

Twente began brightly and they eventually had the lead with Ricky van Wolfswinkel scoring from the spot after a handball.

Go Ahead goalkeeper Jeffrey de Lange then kept his side in it with good saves from Gijs Smal and Joshua Brenet.

Lars Unnerstall had nothing to do at the other end and it appeared Twente would see out the win. However, Luca Everink committed a foul on Willum Willumsson in the last minute and a penalty was eventually given. Willumsson scored the penalty to earn his side a point.

Twente is fifth in the league while Go Ahead sits 11th.
