The 19-year-old Turkish forward has been excellent in the Eredivisie since joining Twente on a season-long loan deal. Unal’s 17 goals in the Eredivisie have launched the club into the European play-off spots and the club had been looking to renew his loan for next season.
However, Lazionews24 is reporting that Lazio are searching for a new striker in the summer and see Unal as the perfect partner for Ciro Immobile. Scouts from the club have been impressed with the youngster and a €10 million bid is being prepared for the summer.
Whether Manchester City would be willing to sell the talent remains to be seen but its clear that FC Twente will have plenty of competition for the striker in the summer.
