According to Sky Italia, Lazio have rejected an offer from Liverpool for Dutch centre-back Stefan de Vrij.

On Wednesday, Liverpool released a statement which confirmed that the club had ended their interest in signing Virgil van Dijk from Southampton.
It appears that they now have their eyes on another Dutchman, with the Premier League club submitting an offer of €20 million for Lazio’s Stefan de Vrij, according to Sky Italia. However, the Italian club have rejected the offer and are expecting a much bigger fee to part with the centre-back.
Sky believe that Liverpool will return with an improved offer for the 25-year-old, who is also interesting Chelsea and Inter Milan.
