The Court of Arbitration for Sport has told Lazio that they must pay Feyenoord €1 million which is still owed from the transfer of Stefan de Vrij.

The now Inter Milan centre-back joined Lazio from Feyenoord back in 2014 in a deal which included a €2 million installment which had to be paid at a later date.

Lazio fell for a fake email, which demanded the payment, and sent the money to the wrong bank account. Feyenoord are still waiting for the payment and took the case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, which have ruled in the Rotterdammers favour.

Feyenoord are owed €1 million in compensation but are fighting for the full €2 million.
