Jeremain Lens has confirmed that he is set to join Fenerbahce on loan from Sunderland.

lens sunderThe winger has fallen out of favour with the Black Cats, and is set for a reunion with Dick Advocaat, the coach who signed him for Sunderland, as he looks for more playing time with Fenerbahce.

Lens told Fox Sports,”Sunderland would just love to get rid of me.

“Tomorrow I will undergo the medical examination. I do not expect any problems there. I’m excited. It’s a nice transfer. Fenerbahçe is a great club and a great challenge. I have a good relationship with Dick, but he also knows my qualities. It’s not that he does me a favour. ”

Lens joined Sunderland from Dynamo Kiev in 2015 but has only made 23 appearances for the club, scoring four goals.
