The winger joined the Turkish giants on loan from Sunderland last summer, and speaking to Fox Sports Lens confirmed that he wants the move to become permanent.

He said, “I’d love to (stay), but that has to come from both sides and we have to see. Is there movement? Slightly. We have each spoken and intend to continue together longer. We should now look to see if that is possible. ”

Besiktas are also reportedly interested in signing Lens this summer, and the attacker is just waiting to see what develops, “That’s what I heard. It’s just wait and see what happens. I never speak to clubs, so you have to ask my agent. I know there is interest from several clubs, we’ll wait and see what happens.”

Lens has a contract with Sunderland until 2019 but their relegation to the Championship makes a return to England unlikely.
