Martens spoke of how much the squad a looking forward to the semi-final and how they are aware that it will be a tough match.
She said, ”When knew that when England beat France that our semi-final against them will be a great match. We are looking forward to it.
”In our squad there are a lot of players that play in England so we know our opponents well. We are well prepared.
”England is a great opponent who are having a great tournament and have been a top football country for many years. But we must concentrate on our game and what we do.
”When we last played England back in November 2016 we lost but it was a fairly equal game. In tournament football everything is possible. It will be a very interesting game.
”Our support from Oranje fans has been fantastic so far this tournament and that can only help us. All the media coverage goes above my head as I am concentrating on what I do on the pitch maybe after the tournament I can appreciate what has been written and what people have said.
”I want to help the team and be important for my teammates. I have played a few good games but it is all about Thursday . Lucy Bronze is a great right-back who likes to overlap. As a team we must be aware of that and look to launch a counter attack. It will be a very interesting. I hope that we can have a lot of possession and dominate the game.”
