Henk Fraser’s Vitesse are on the look out for new recruits following their qualification for the Europa League group stage, and Linssen is expected to add competition on the wings as well as help replace the recently departed Lewis Baker.
The 26-year-old was inconsistent in his two-year spell with Groningen and was linked with a move to Belgium in January. However, a nine goal purple patch over the final eleven games of the season has now earnt Linssen a move to a club that has so far signed plenty of experience ahead of the new campaign, including Tim Matavz, Thuilani Serero and Thomas Bruns.
Linssen started out with Fortuna Sittard, before establishing himself with MVV, VVV and Heracles.
