Virgil van Dijk and Georginio Wijnaldum are both doubts for Liverpool’s clash with Flamengo in the Club World Cup final.

On Saturday, Liverpool take on Brazilian side Flamengo in Qatar for the Club World Cup.

However, the Champions League winners and Premier League leaders may have to do without Virgil van Dijk and Georginio Wijnaldum.

Speaking at his pre-game press conference, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp said, “Virgil has been training, while Gini has also had a session on it. We will see how it works out. We have no new injury concerns.”

Van Dijk missed the semi-final win over Monterrey with flu while Wijnaldum has a a muscle injury. Both players will undergo a late fitness test to see if they can take part.
