Jurgen Locadia is hoping to rediscover his form at Hoffenheim in order to get a call-up to the Dutch national team.

The striker was on the cusp of making his Netherlands debut back in 2017 but remained on the bench for the ties against Belarus and Sweden.

Since then, Locadia moved from PSV to Brighton and Hove Albion and struggled to make an impact in England. He is now on loan at German side Hoffenheim and scored his first Bundesliga goal at the weekend.

Speaking to Eindhovens Dagblad, Locadia said on a possible Netherlands debut, “I definitely have that ambition.

“If I play a lot here and start scoring more often, I assume that I can come into the picture again.”
