Jurgen Locadia had an eventful evening as FC Cincinnati exited the MLS is back tournament after a 4-2 loss on penalties to Portland Timbers.

Jaap Stam’s side started with Locadia and Siem de Jong on the bench for the round of 16 clash.
In the 67th minute, Jaroslaw Niezgoda gave Portland Timbers the lead but in the 81st minute, Locadia equalised from the penalty spot.
FC Cincinnati should have won the game with two minutes left, but Locadia somehow scooped the ball over the bar from a few yards out after being set up by De Jong.
The former PSV striker then missed his penalty in the shootout as Portland Timbers progressed to the last eight. De Jong had scored his before Locadia’s miss.
The MLS is Back Tournament is now over for Stam’s side.
