The 23-year-old has been limited to only eleven Eredivisie appearances after suffering an injury at the start of the campaign, but has managed three assists and two goals.

Locadia signed a new deal with the club in March until 2021 and speaking to De Telegraaf, the forward said he is not interested in leaving Eindhoven in the summer.

He said, “I just stay. I’ve just re-signed. I am developing here every year.

“The position that I play does not matter. I can play well on the left outside position. I remain of course a striker and I would prefer to develop there. But when I’m at a club like PSV and can play as a left winger, then that is an Honour.”

On rumours that Luuk de Jong could leave this summer, Locadia added,  “I do not know what will change next season. Or Luuk will leave or stay? Or will they get a new striker? That will all be seen. But I feel I’m in the new season as a left winger.”
