The 28-year-old has been linked with a move to Mexican side Monterrey this summer but it appears an adventure in Spain is more likely.
According to ED, Sevilla have contacted PSV to tell them of their interest and are ready to pay between €10-15 million for the forward.
PSV are hoping to tie down their striker to a new deal until 2022 but De Jong is open to a departure to Spain.
Any deal would see De Jong’s former club Borussia Mönchengladbach receive a small percentage of the fee.
They need a Ben Yedder help & maybe replacement if he moves. Tho are to lose Sabaria for £16m which is a snip & Yedder older but clinical as a £30m buyout so £46m for over half their goals w 35 goals tighter & 20 assists then all apss Yedder has over 30 goals & Sabaria 20.
They could have two big players two replace & seem to want both from AJAX in De Jong & Ziyech.
If that both went should bed in easier and think LA liga would suit De Jong better then PL.
That said I’m surprised no one is looking at Wout Weghorst… West Ham Gomez is great but £40m… Wout is perfect for PL IMO & scored most every for jump to Bundesliga w 17 goals & 7 assists he is tall but good in ball like De Jong but 26 & only has £16m buyout clause which is cheap as chips in this mkt.
Would think Sevilla & others linked w Zapata & Rondon can get for same price as latter & half of former & years younger.
Plus Koeman needs him in squad IMO
