Olympique Lyon manager Bruno Genesio spoke in his press conference after his team’s 4-1 away defeat to Ajax in Amsterdam.

The coach stated that defending is his team’s weakness and that they must believe that they can turn the tie around in Lyon next week.
Genesio said, ”We must keep believing and we must digest this defeat. It was an unequal game, especially after half-time. We must start again and believe that we can win through to the final by turning the tie around. That is the most important thing.
”We have a league game on Sunday and then the return tie in Lyon against Ajax. You have seen many teams in the Europa League come back strong this season and we must focus on achieving that.
”The reason that Ajax are so strong is because they have a very quick and technical team and they also take a lot of risks.
”Our defense has been our weakness since the start of this season.”
