Olympique Lyon chairman Jean-Michel Aulas has confirmed Barcelona’s interest in Memphis Depay but AS Roma are also interested.

Memphis Depay has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona in the Spanish media, with a deal worth €25 million said to be close.

Speaking to Telefoot, Aulas confirmed the interest but added that Barcelona has competition, “Memphis contract expires next year. Ronald Koeman wants to bring him to FC Barcelona, ​​but AS Roma is also interested.”

Koeman is keen to make Memphis his first signing as Barcelona boss and also wants Georginio Wijnaldum.
