The Dutchman was left out of Sevilla’s 25 man squad for the La Liga, and has so far this season only featured once in the Europa League qualifiers.
The 28 year old has now stated his intention to leave Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in January, with England, Germany, and Netherlands all possible destinations.
Maduro told Sport 1, “Ideally, I want to go to a country where the competition is at a high level,”
“Germany, England, but also i am open to the Netherlands. I won’t say no in advance to club from the Netherlands.”
The midfielder, who can also play in defence, started his career with Ajax, making over 100 appearances for the club before moving to Valencia in January 2008.
In four seasons with Valencia, Maduro was in and out of the first team, but made 86 appearances, before joining Andalusian rivals Sevilla last season.
With 22 caps for the Netherlands national team, Maduro will hope a return to regular first team football in January may give him a late chance of making next summers World Cup, having previously been part of the 2006 squad in Germany.
