The chances that Karim Rekik returns to PSV Eindhoven next season are slim after the defender revealed Manchester City have another plan for him.

Rekik has spent the last two seasons with PSV, and the Eindhoven club are believed to be keen on extending the defenders stay for next season as they prepare for the Champions League.
However Rekik has revealed that Manchester City are keen on the 20-year-old to experience a different competition next season in order to further his development.
Rekik said after PSV’s title celebrations, “Manchester City has a plan to loan me in a different league.”
“Now I just enjoy the moment and we will see what happens next season. We will take time to handle it calmly and well.”
