dolberg-ajaxThe 19-year-old has been a revelation so far this season, scoring eleven goals in twenty-one matches this season, and the Dane’s form has sparked interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

Danish newspaper BT has spoken to Man City scout Sebastian Arnesen and he has confirmed the club have been watching the striker ahead of a potential move.

Arnesen said, “We are keeping a very close eye on him, and when the time is right we’ll make a decision on whether we should act.

“He has a huge potential. He is tall, strong, brave and quick. He has an excellent touch, can play with his back to the goal and take the right decisions. And he can finish anywhere in the field. He is so special, and therefore he is of course also on the radar.”

Ajax are unlikely to sell their star this January and the player himself has stated he has no interest of leaving Amsterdam any time soon. However, a big offer next summer may tempt both the player and club.
