According to the Guardian, several top Premier League sides are battling to sign Feyenoord’s 15-year-old defender Melayro Bogarde.

According to the newspaper, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool are all following the defender, who can leave Rotterdam when he turns 16.
Manchester United are said to be at the front of the queue having already sent scouts several times to watch the youngster in action. In August, Bogarde will play with Feyenoord in the youth tournament the Kleuver Copa, and a number of interested clubs are said to be heading to the tournament to watch him in action.
Bogarde is the cousin of former Ajax and Chelsea defender Winston Bogarde.
