The 20-year-old central defender is reportedly unhappy with his wages at the Amsterdam Arena and is demanding and improved deal. Club director of football Marc Overmars has been working hard to extend the 20 year old’s contract which runs out in 2015.
The Metro are reporting that the reigning Premier League champions are ready to take advantage of his contract situation and could submit a bid for him as early as January 2014.
Manchester United boss David Moyes is planning to bring in young defenders to replace the likes of Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra, who are all closing in on retirement age.
Denswil, who is a former Hellas Sport trainee, has represented the Holland at every age level and could be available for as little as £5million.
Since making his debut against ONS Sneek in October 2012 Denswil has made 24 appearances for the capital club. Ajax say they are still hopeful of finding an agreement with the player.
