According to the Daily Star the Dutch duo are on Manchester United boss David Moyes wishlist for the summer.
Strootman has enjoyed an excellent season in Serie A with Roma who are second in the League table and in the Semifinals of Coppa Italia, whereas Wijnaldum has had an injury hit season and has just returned for a struggling PSV Eindhoven side in the Eredivisie.
Manchester United have struggled this season and want to bolster their midfield to mount a title challenge next season. Should both deals go through it could spell an end to Tom Cleverly’s and Nani’s Old Trafford careers.
The Red Devils will have to fork out for both players; Strootman has been valued at about 40 million by the Giallorossi and Wijnaldum at about 9 million pounds by the Boeren.
Both Strootman and Wijnaldum are full Dutch internationals with 24 and three caps to their name respectively.
