The 20-year-old has been a revelation this season, ousting regular right back Ricardo van Rhijn in the Ajax first team and forcing his way into the Netherlands squad.
Tete has a contract in Amsterdam until 2018 but that hasn’t stopped admirers from beginning to circle the youngster, and a report in Sunday’s Daily Mirror is linking Manchester United and Juventus with the defender.
The article wrongly states that Tete’s contract only runs until 2017, but there is no doubt that interest is growing in Tete, who has been in talks with Ajax over a new deal since December.
