Premier League giants Manchester United have won the race to sign Ajax youngster Timothy Fosu Mensah according to Daily Mail. The 16 year old can play in a variety of defensive positions but is primarily a left back.

United Scouts were reportedly impressed by Mensah at the AEGON Future Cup last April where the Lancers won the tournament for the third time in five years.
The Red Devils will fork out £300,000 in compensation to land the Dutch U-16 international who was spotted at the Carrington training base ahead of the move.
United have beaten their city rivals Manchester City and Serie A team Inter Milan who had also expressed an interest.
