The Club scouts were impressed with the 15 year old while he played in the Premier Cup tournament held at United’s Carrington training base. The Red Devils have now invited the teenager to train with them and will also convince him to join them permanently.
Another one of those technically gifted players to have come out from Feyenoord’s famed academy, Chong can also play as a striker. The Dutch U-16 international has also been described as fast, technically good and with an eye for a goal.
Should the transfer take effect, Chong will become the second teenager to leave Eredivisie for Old Trafford; the Record Premier League champions have already confirmed the signing of left-back Timothy Fosu-Mensah from Ajax.
