Keizer said, ”We set ourselves the goal of reaching the Champions League which would be good for the club and also in a sporting sense good for the players who want to show their worth in the Champions League.
”We have to now regroup and concentrate on our first Eredivisie game of the season away at Heracles Almelo,
”We did not start the game well the first 25 minutes and I have no explanation for that. Nice created chances and played in a decisive way and put pay to our errors. After 30 minutes we were a lot brighter where we could intern apply pressure and we won a lot of second balls against a good Nice side.
”In the 2nd half we wanted to carry on our good spell for the 1st half which we did and managed to take the lead 2-1. We could have even extended it to 3-1. We did everything we can in the closing stages of the game to win it. After two draws we are eliminated from the Champions League and that is tough to take.”
