The Amsterdam side controlled the game from the start in De Kuip and four second half goals gave them the three points which moves them second and keeps them five points behind PSV.

Keizer told NOS, ”We went for the victory today and we showed that from the first minute today and I am really pleased.

”We wanted to keep Feyenoord in check during the first 15 minutes and we had a lot of energy and we were under pressure to win the game.

”This was a real team performance and not every team will win 4-1 here in De Kuip in Rotterdam. This is our 3rd consecutive victory and you see that the players have a smile on their face again.

”It’s great to be manager of Ajax when you win.”

Keizer also singled out David Neres for praise after the Brazilian contributed three assists, ”David Neres is enjoying himself now that he is playing often. He is also a real fighter.”
