Martin Odegaard has given his first interview to the Dutch press after his loan move from Real Madrid.

The 18-year-old, who is considered to be one of the brightest young talents in Europe sealed his 18-month loan deal to Heerenveen on Tuesday.
Odegaard then told the press, ”Heerenveen is a great club I had good talks with the manager and representatives of the club and that is why I am here. I am looking forward to starting for Heerenveen and this is a great chance for me.
”It was very special as a 16 or 17 year old boy to train with the best players in the world I learnt a lot at Real Madrid and now I want to grow as a player.
”I am fit to play and I hope to start for Heerenveen as soon as possible”
