Berghuis tonight was given number 10 I really wanted to cry , that number stuck in my memory with the likes of Bergkamp and Gullit, it’s a pity to see Dutch football incapable to produce that level of talents , why ? Because of that type of coaches like koman who is not giving young talents the opportunity and playing with some idiots like De Roon and Berghuis!
I think Koeman opened himself up to criticism with his comments about Northern Ireland’s play in the previous match; even with the injuries he still had more than enough quality to break down NI, both in the 11 and the bench, but settled for such a weak point. If you’re going to criticize weaker countries for boring, defensive football then you’d better play attacking football when given the chance.
Such a shame also for Malen to miss out at the same time Depay and Bergwijn are also missing, it would’ve been great to see him get some more significant minutes ahead of next summer.

I am really amazed that people think Koeman is a good coach. He has no record of success anywhere to show other than his reputation as a great player. Koeman is barely average as a coach. He is actually worse than Van Gaal at Manchester United. His teams always play negative possession. This Dutch team will not have a very good European finals.
