A 90th-minute penalty saw Utrecht earn a 1-1 draw with PEC Zwolle meaning both sides remain without a win this season.

Richairo Zivkovic was handed his first start for Utrecht and the young striker missed two good opportunities to equalise before the break while Sebastien Haller shot over the bar from close range.
Chances were scarce in the second half and it looked like PEC Zwolle were going to hold on but in the last minute Calvin Verdonk brought down Giovanni Troupee earning the defender a red card and Utrecht a penalty, which Haller scored. The draw which is Utrecht’s third of the campaign keeps them in 15th, while PEC Zwolle move off the bottom to 16th.
