Memphis Depay scored a wonderful goal as Lyon recorded a 3-1 first leg victory over Villarreal in the Europa League.

The winger started the game on the bench and saw his side take the lead in first-half injury time as Tanguy NDombele headed in Mariano’s cross.
Four minutes into the second half, Nabil Fekir doubled Lyon’s advantage but Pablo Fornals pulled one back for the Spaniards on 63 minutes.
Memphis was then introduced from the bench on 73 minutes and he quickly sealed the win for Lyon with a powerful low strike from 30-yards which flew into the bottom corner. Lyon take a two-goal advantage to Spain next week for the second-leg.
