Memphis Depay thinks the 3-1 victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina has come at the right time for Netherlands.

After five games without a win, Netherlands defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina 3-1 to give themselves a chance of reaching the next round of the UEFA Nations League.
Speaking to NOS afterward, Memphis, who played on the left-wing and not up front, said, I am not above the team, I just have to show that I belong in the line-up. But these games just have to be won and in a good way. That was the case today. Then I think you should win this match 4-0 or 5-0.
“The last few games you don’t get the result you want and then speculation starts, people think something about it. Then you just have to make sure you stay calm, collective. And we did. Now we have to recover, focus on the next game. And tonight see what Italy is going to do against Poland.”
Italy defeated Poland 2-0, meaning that Netherlands needs a victory on Wednesday against the latter, while hoping the former slips up against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
