Roda JC have appointed Robert Molenaar as their new head coach.

Yannis Anastasiou was sacked as Roda JC coach towards the end of last season, and their search for a new boss has finally come to an end with Robert Molenaar signing a one-year deal with the option of a second.
Molenaar was coach of Volendam last season but was sacked in April after a string of poor results. He now makes the step up to the Eredivisie and will be tasked with leading the Kerkrade side away from the bottom three.
A former defender of Volendam, Leeds United, Bradford City and RBC Roosendaal, Molenaar will be taking only his second coaching role with Roda JC.
