NAC Breda loaned six players from the Premier League giants last season, and it’s clear their relationship will continue with Thierry Ambrose, Paolo Fernandes and Pablo Marí all joining on loan for the new campaign.
Ambrose, 20, is a French striker, who joined Manchester City from the Auxerre academy in 2013, but has not yet made his debut for the first team. He netted five goals in eight reserve games last season. Mari, 23, is a Spanish centre-back that started his career with Mallorca before joining Gimnastic and then Manchester City in 2016. He spent part of last season on loan with Girona. Finally, Fernandes is a talented 18-year-old attacking midfielder, who has been in the City Academy since 2013 and impressed in the UEFA Youth League last season.
NAC Technical director Hans Smulders told the club’s website. “Thierry, Pablo and Paolo are three very talented players who fit into the picture that we have outlined prior to the season. For all three is that they can make a substantial contribution to their specific qualities to our team. ”
