Alireza Jahanbakhsh could be on his way to England after NEC Nijmegen accepted a bid for the winger from Championship side Brighton & Hove Albion.

jahansBrighton have had an offer of over €2 million euros accepted by NEC for the 21-year-old, but still need to convince the player himself to move to England before any deal can be completed.

A number of other clubs are said to be interested in the Iranian international, and his agent has told Eindhoven Dagblad that his client will not rush to any decision over his future.

Amir Hashemi said, “There is lots of interest, so we have no hurry. Ali just need to think very carefully about this step. ”

Jahanbakhsh was voted the best player in the Eerste Divisie last season after scoring 12 goals and adding 17 assists in 28 games as NEC gained promotion to the Eredivisie.
