halldoHalldórsson, 31, moves from Norwegian club Sandnes ULF to sign a two-year contract with NEC. The Icelander has 28 caps for his country, including an appearance in 2-0 win against the Netherlands last October.

When Halldórsson played club football in his homeland, he also made a name for himself as a director, perhaps most famously for directing Iceland’s video which entered the 2012 Eurovision song contest.
