Philippe Sandler scored in the 95th minute to secure NEC Nijmegen a 3-3 draw against Go Ahead Eagles.

NEC went into the game looking for a much-needed league win as they had only secured one all season. Within three minutes, Oussama Tannane had made it 1-0 with a fine solo effort.

However, Go Ahead responded quickly with Isac Lidberg heading in the equaliser before Bobby Adekanye benefited from some poor defending to put the visitors in front before the break.

Five minutes into the second half it was 3-1 as Oliver Edvardsen netted. The offside flag went up but VAR overruled the decision.

NEC looked for a way back into the game and in the 78th minute, Magnus Mattsson did make it 2-3. An exciting last period then followed and in the 95th minute, Sandler headed in the equaliser to earn NEC a point.

NEC is 12th in the table and Go Ahead is currently 15th.
